RESERVE A PUP

Please begin by emailing us for our puppy reservation form/application

and submitting it to us.  We only accept applications for a specific litter

that we have listed on our New Arrivals page.  Once your application is 

approved, you may submit a $250 non refundable fee to secure a 

spot on our waiting list. This will be applied towards your deposit once

the pups arrive. (IE Total deposit $750-$250=$500)

WAITING LISTS

We start waiting lists based off approved puppy applications. Once the pups arrive, we will contact everyone on the waiting list via email (unless alternate contact info is noted) to finalize your deposit.  We feel this is the fairest way.  We will not accept deposits any earlier.

Submitting an application does not reserve a puppy, only a received deposit.

We accept NON REFUNDABLE deposits on our puppies once they are born.

We will HOLD your reservation for three days to allow you to get your deposit to us.  Please do not ask us to hold a pup for you if you have no intentions of sending a deposit.  All our puppies come with limited AKC registration. 

We reserve the right to refund your deposit at anytime should we feel our puppy is not the best fit for your family.  Also, at any time, should you become unable to care for your pup, please contact us first so we may assist you in placing your pup/dog in an approved home or you may return the dog to us, no questions asked, no explanation needed

 YOUR PUP

​When the pups arrive typically determines their going homes date, between 7-8 weeks of age. You will have an estimated going home date usually prior to placing your deposit to help you plan.  We allow 45 minutes/ 1 hour for your visit.  We will match the pups to each family,  Please be detailed and as specific as possible when filling out your application.  This helps us match the pups to the best family for them energy and personality wise. we are with the pups all day every day and therefore have been able to observe their personalities and traits.  In regards to physical appearance, our litters are very consistent. Photos are sent every other week, or weekly if possible.

   Our pups go home at approx. 7-8 weeks old.  If you are unable to bring your puppy home within that time frame please let us know prior to placing a deposit.  Regardless of actual going home date, pup must be paid in full by 8 weeks of age.

If pup isn't picked up by the pickup date specified, a boarding fee of $20/night will be charged. All sales are final, and NO refunds will be issued for deposits or purchase price of pup.  Please be sure you and your family are ready for a puppy, and that this is the right time in your life to devote to a pup.

HEALTH

Our adult dogs are health tested prior to entering our breeding program, per the Golden Retriever standard, hips, elbows, eyes and heart, thru OFA and PennHip, as well as complete genetic testing. Each dog listed has a link to its individual clearances.   This helps eliminate issues stemming from these areas. As always, we stand behind any puppy we raise. 

Our puppies are vet checked, micro chipped, and receive their first vaccination prior to going home.  We also deworm them at 2, 4, and 6 weeks. Occasionally things do arise, that are beyond our control, but we do our very best to ensure you a healthy puppy.  Click the button below for a copy of our health guarantee.

If you are local, we recommend the following vets: Miller Animal Hospital, Dr. Jack Miller, 704-847-0224, located in Indian Trail, NC OR Weddington Animal Hospital, Dr. Faulkner.  They care for our adult Goldens.

We have our puppy vet checks onsite and micro chipping.

DEPOSITS

 Deposits are $750 and are non refundable. Please email for pricing on the litter of your preference.   We accept checks, Zelle, or cash for the deposit. Zelle sent 48 hours ahead of pickup, Cash or certified check only, payable to Paulette Helms or Carolina Country Goldens, for the balance, which is due at time of pickup. 

Pickups are in person with my self and buyer.

We love having families visit from any state. Our pups reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Maryland, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Florida, Oregon, California, Indiana, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Washington DC and New York.

If at any time you contact us and we do not have any available pups, we will be more than happy to refer you to a breeder who holds the same high standards as we do.

FOOD

 We feed Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Savor, Shredded Chicken or Beef and Rice, or Royal Canin to our Adults, and supplement the dry kibble with raw eggs, and green beans. The puppies are started on Purina Pro Plan Focus Large Breed Puppy Chicken OR Royal Canin Golden Retriever Puppy.  At a minimum,  I recommend our new parents continue with the same food for the first six months after taking your puppy home
